Surgical treatment of combined heart pathology using bilateral mini-thoracotomy access

Abstract

We demonstrate the clinical experience of successful treatment of patients with combined heart pathology: multivessel hemodynamically significant atherosclerotic lesion of the coronary arteries in combination with severe mitral insufficiency through bilateral mini-thoracotomy access.

Keywords:mini-thoracotomy; mini-invasive cardiac surgery; mitral valve reconstruction; mini-invasive multiple coronary bypass surgery; peripheral artificial blood circulation
