Percutaneous exclusion of ascending aorta pseudoaneurysm with a PFO closure device
Abstract
The article presents
a clinical case of endovascular embolization of аortic pseudoaneurysm with a
PFO occluder after ascending aorta replacement in a 49-year-old man. The
patient had previously been operated on for an ascending aorta aneurysm.
Subsequently, according to the control MSCT aortography, a pseudoaneurysm was
detected at the site of anastomosis with the ascending aorta. This article analyzes
the options for correcting this condition, justifies the tactics of the chosen
endovascular strategy. A conclusion is made about the effectiveness of the
technique.
